Celebrating a First Project In the Books!

I’m excited to be able to share something with you all - the output of my first project as an independent consultant 👀

And it’s… *drumroll*… a website!

Now, if you’ve followed along with my business, you know that web development is not a part of my suite of offerings. But let me tell you why bringing the brand new https://soundwich.com/ into being is a perfect example of one way businesses work with me.

Soundwich, Inc. came to me with a pain point: an online presence that didn’t ideally represent the company of today, or more importantly, the future. Behind the ask for a new website was a need to comprehensively revisit the way the team articulated the value proposition of their products and capabilities, as well as the visual assets to help tell that story.

Given this need, I built a cross-functional team consisting of top leaders from within the company and experts from my professional network to support tasks outside of my own area of expertise. Long story short, the final product is a brand new website that the team can all be proud of! Shout out to Kyle Brown, media schmedia, LLC, and Bob Perkoski for being part of this project team and delivering great work!

So what’s the moral of the story? It’s still true to say that what I offer isn’t websites, and in the same way, it isn’t strategic plans or innovation processes or new productivity systems - though those are some tangible deliverables you may end up with. What I offer is the sense of relief that that initiative that’s been languishing on a PowerPoint slide, in the back of your mind, or just beyond reach of putting into words is going to actually get done.
